Anyway, this is my website. All about me, which frankly I have to say makes me a bit nervous as I am not used to talking about myself like this. And a whole site nonetheless. However, I have found that since I am performing and lecturing so much these days (Hint! I am available for both, so just give me an email - go on, you know you want to) that a website is a good place to put all this 'stuff' (some might say 's**t') that I have lying around and frankly have very little other use for. So I thought 'why not dump it all on the Internet', in the hope that someone, anyone, will find it interesting enough to look at.

Oh, the insecurity.

Anyway, enjoy! You'll find my academic papers, photos of performances, mp3s of recent recordings, and dates of upcoming appearances interesting / useful / enjoyable. Also occasionally I will put up pictures of my social life (when I find time to have one). Am still playing with the gallery feature. Go here to check it out. Will be integrating it soon (once I get all the bugs out).

November update: Oh it's been a slow month on the live performing and I haven't done much to the ol' website. I think at some point I will change it - you know, put in some snazzy go-faster stripes or some such but haven't been getting around to it. That's because it has been extremely busy for me elsewhere. Lots of filming going on - which has been exciting and lots of planning for the coming year (some very very exciting projects lined up for 2006!). Meanwhile I am finishing work for the forhcoming TravellingConcepts.net (feminist website) and generally trying to keep up working on my thesis and other such things.

Not sure if that is at all interesting, but that's my life at the moment, so there!

Much more live gigging coming up in 2006 though and the films should be coming out then too. So it will be the year of over-exposure or something. Oh whatever, it will be a laugh I am sure.
